Suggest an Edit is simple and straightforward. Typically, “Suggest and Edit” is used to recommend an updated phone number or address, etc. The edits are basic and readily available to suggest with no detailed comments or images associated with them.

  1. Open Google Maps and make sure they’re signed in.
  2. Search for a place or click on the map.
  3. On the left, scroll down and select Suggest an Edit
  4. Follow the instructions.
  5. Click Submit.

Send Feedback tends to be a little more complex.  The “Send Feedback” mechanism allows for images and additional comments on the issue be shared with Google technical team.

  • Open Google Maps and make sure they’re signed in.
  • To report a problem with incorrect information, scroll down at the last.
  • In the bottom left, click Send feedback.
  • Choose the blue square and then the yellow square.
  • Follow the instructions.
  • Click Submit.
